Local Chairman
Welcome to the Division 724 Local Chairman's web page. I hope you will visit often. I will
be updating on agreement changes, interpretations and news to make our jobs better.
Below you will find an explanation of the current status of issues that are pending:

Time Claims: We need to make sure when the carrier violates the Agreement you get
the proper documentation, which includes documenting what happened on your working
time slip and retrieving the translogs from the computer.

You may click the "Timeclaims" link to the left to view examples of certain timeclaims.

Documentation is the most important part of a claim. It is best to get it at the time the
violation occurs. Get the information you need and keep it with your working trip slip until
you get your turndown, then send it all me. It is the Organization's responsibility to prove
the validity of each claim; this is best done with translogs etc.

If the carrier violates the Agreement we need to file claims and follow up by sending me
your turndowns so I can process them.

Engineers can view the status of there claims by going to:
www.bleupcrgca.com and
clicking on find my GCA number, then go to time claims and put your GCA number in
along with your password.

Appealing of Time Claims: I am now using the General Committee website
www.bleupcrgca.com for processing claims. For each claim to be processed properly, I
will need the following information for each claim. (Note 1 separate set of documentation
will be need for each and every claim.)

1.A copy of your readout. (pay page and turndown page)

2.A copy of your time slip. (with penalty slip I will also need a copy of your working slip for
that trip)

3.A copy of all documentation you can get. (The more info the better) job history, board
standings, train list, track/yard list, bu's, bowl turnover, aei list, ect.

If you have been denied the right to old head, you will need to call CMS and have them
put a notation in your work history that you tried to old head Job XYZ and then write down
the time and give that time to me with your turn down and documentation and I will pull up
your work history and put it in your file. I can get this information for up to at least 6
months so there should be no problem with time limits on that.

You have 60 days to file a claim and we have 60 days to process that claim after it has
been denied by timekeeping. This is the date on your pay stub that you were paid. The
sooner you get the denial to me the better.

This would give you the board standings as they were locked in at some time shortly
after midnight along with all translogs for the day until they locked in the next day.
